Dr. Rao's team supports the tuberculosis drug susceptiblity performance testing evalatuion by the Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC).  Medical health laboratories from more than 30 countries participate in the multiyear study.

 

Dr. Rao was the principal investigator of a large health promotion and health risk analysis study.  The Army's health promotion database is considered to be one of the largest of its kind in the world.  More than 22 million health-related data points were included in this study.
